About Me

Growing up in a small beach town in San Diego, CA, I spent a majority of my adolescence surfing and spending time at the beach. My constant immersion in the ocean bred a passion and interest in it, and informed my decision to pursue a degree in marine biology. I graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2018 with a B.S. in Aquatic Biology, and went on to work as a technician for an environmental consulting firm.

I was accepted into the RIPTIDES IMES program at San Francisco State University, and joined the Wilkerson/Dugdale Lab in the Fall of 2020, where I will be studying phytoplankton and nutrient dynamics.
